The Innocent Immediately after he pecked her on the lips she bit down on her lower one and could feel the heat rising from her neck and up to her cheeks. He apologized and she nudged his shoulder with her own giving him a smile in return. "I'll let it slide," She laughed and stretched up to kiss his cheek, but with their pretty significant height difference, she missed and only reached his jaw. Her face flushed again and she looked away.
Lottie was much too distracted by her own awkwardness and dwelling to realize where his mind had gone. In all honesty, as she talked about her brother, she didn't even think to ask him about his own family. She didn't know what was custom to the East, whether everyone was like her with overbearing siblings and no parents or fully functioning families who happened to get themselves into trouble on occasion. She figured it was best to keep her questions to herself until she could flesh him out on the deep stuff. Even so, as she talked about Will, she could feel the pang of regret and guilt for leaving the confines of the shop. He would freak out if he knew how far from home she was and he had more on his plate to worry about without her making things worse.
She wrapped her arms around her torso as he went to work, scooping their snack and gathering the drinks. When he asked her to grab the skittles, she did and followed him past the other boy, remaining close by his side. Charlotte had never been a particularly clingy type, but she liked the closeness between her and Hunter. The further she strayed from him, the more anxious she felt. They entered the hall and she scrunched her nose, unaware of what she was smelling except for the tobacco she was used to smelling from Will when he was overwhelmed. Lottie didn't even allow herself to consider what the other smell could be. She huddled closer to Hunter and sat beside him towards the back corner where the stench wasn't quite as bad.
Finally settled into their seats, she looked up at him when he finally spoke. And it caught her off guard by how formal he sounded, she couldn't help but laugh. Charlotte reached over and laced her fingers through his, her other hand resting on the top of the one she held. Pulling her legs up on the chair, knees against her chest, she leaned against him. The opening credits began, but she was too busy looking at him. "You'll know if it's not okay," She stated simply with a smirk before resting her cheek against his shoulder and turning her eyes back to the screen.

He noticed the creeping rise in colour on her face and he took it as a good sign. Especially when it was coupled with her statement and the kiss to his jaw. Instinctively, he let his hand caress her cheek, grasping her neck lightly before letting go.
There was a point where Hunter thought he lost Charlotte in a haze and as much as he wanted to shake her out of it, it sort of lent to the fact that this girl was definitely taken out of her element and it was his fault. He felt slightly guilty but he was also not the type to deny whatever emotion he was feeling towrds the young woman. He had a nasty habit of not doing and not being able to do what he wanted throughout his childhood. It was a constant dilemma, given the fact that his upbringing had taught him to respect women but he also wanted this particular woman to know that he wanted her.
Hunter smiled when she moved close, sort of confirming that she wanted whatever this is, even if it wasn't as much as he did. He had patience; in his line of work, he couldn't afford not to have it so he was going to take his time letting her come to him. In the meantime, he wasn't going to hold back from telling her that he was more than willing to come to her.
Her laugh at his seeking permission was a little jarring but given where they were, he couldn't help but laugh along. He pulled their joined hands up to his lips, pressing them on the back of her hand. It was dark in the cinema but he momentarily got lost in her blue eyes.
Part of him knew very well that this was going way too fast. Faster than he ever was with women but somehow, it felt right. She felt right.
He took a handful of popcorn to feed himself.

The Innocent All throughout the movie, each time there was something gory or over the top, she buried her face into his shoulder. While she was entirely keen on gross things and interested in them, she was still pretty squeamish and was hardly allowed to indulge in her love for gross things. Will would likely throw a fit if he knew the movie she'd chose, but she was happy to experience something different. Especially feeling like she had some kind of protection with her in the form of Hunter. She squeezed his hand tighter and even cringed a few times, but nevertheless she couldn't stop watching for long.
As the ending credits began to roll, she took a deep breath and felt all the tension from her body release with the air. Charlotte laughed and placed her feet firmly on the ground, still feeling a little wobbly from being so taught through the movie. She looked up at Hunter and smiled, "Well that was...not disappointing. Next time though, I think we need to try and find a really terribly wonderful B horror flick. Those are by far the best." And the only kinds of movies her and Will watched and bonded over. She could remember when she was young that she'd find him watching them and at the time they had terrified her until Will pointed out each fault and each over-exaggeration. It was her and Will's thing, but she so wanted to share it with Hunter because there wasn't much she had to share.
Nothing was her own, everything was what Will allowed to be hers.
Lottie chewed on the inside of her cheek and looked down at her hands that had fallen away from gripping Hunter's arm through the movie and landed in her lap, fidgeting. She knew it was late and that she would have to go home because it was bad enough that she'd gone out, but to stay out until late would surely get her found out. If she hadn't been already. She wondered if Will was scouring the whole East side of the Wall for her or if he had already found them and was waiting outside. If he knew she had gone out, he was going to kill her. She'd be under constant surveillance for the rest of her life, well into her gray years.

Hunter gripped her hand and shrugged after the movie. "That's basically this cinema's specialty, horrible B grade everything. So you're in luck!" He grinned down at her and was pleasantly surprised that he almost didn't catch the fact that there was a promise of a next time. "Does that mean we're seeing each other again after today? Excellent." He pulled her close and let his hand settle on her waist.
They left the cinema and as they stood out in the brisk air, Hunter moved away from Charlotte for a moment just to look at her. "I think I should send you home before your brother kills me. Yeah?" He asked, his hand moving to cup her cheek, his thumb caressing her cheekbone. "Don't get me wrong, I don't wanna leave but I do love my limbs, especially attached to me." He grinned and stepped close, tilting her face to look at him.
"You did promise a next time, which I'm definitely cashing in." He leaned down close enough to brush her lips with his.

The Innocent Lottie rolled her eyes at him, but smiled, "I suppose so. I mean, that kiss in the alley saved your butt because otherwise I'd have been bored to death." She glanced up at him with a sheepish grin to show that she was only joking. He'd been the most exciting person she had met, even if she had only really been around her brother and Lana.
Walking out of the theater, she leaned into him against the wind that whipped her hair back and around her face. When he moved away, she went to protest, but settled for a pout which became less of a joking pout and more of a real one when he spoke what she had been thinking before. She didn't want him to take her home for a couple of obvious reasons, but mostly she just didn't want to be apart from him. Her attachment was illogical and unreasonable which was not the Spencer way, but he fascinated her and made her feel like an adult rather than someone's little puppy who was only allowed out when her owner said so.
Charlotte frowned when she looked up at him, her fingers gripping the bottom of his shirt lightly as he stepped closer. She closed her eyes when their lips met and sighed when they parted, "I'll have you know, I'm going completely against my will. This is all your doing. Taking me home, pfft." Lottie smirked and stretched up on her tip-toes to kiss him again, "But you're probably right, my brother would do a lot worse than just remove your limbs if he knew all the gory details of tonight."

"Is that so?" Hunter smirked pulling her by her waist, their hips bumping against each other. She was both highly innocent yet somehow so fully aware of how she came across. Even with the sheepish grin at the end.
Her pout made Hunter sigh. He didn't want to part from her either but her brother's reputation preceded him. Hunter was lucky enough to have spent whatever time they had anyway. He had grown too attached too soon and he knew it was dangerous and yet somehow, he knew (or hoped) it was all worth it.
Hunter laughed at her response and he leaned into the kiss she gave, sighing.
"Our little secret," he nodded, smiling softly and grabbing her hand one more time. He pulled her close, placed a kiss on the top of her head and brought her home.

The Innocent Upon standing in the very spot where they'd met earlier in the day, Charlotte found herself grimacing towards the window of her bedroom where she'd be spending eternity if Will saw her walk in from outside. She could only hope he had been out on business the whole day so that he wouldn't wonder where she'd been hiding all day. Her fingers tightened around Hunter's, reluctant to let go. Her whole day had been incredible, fun and interesting. She'd been able to explore her side of the city for once.
Lottie looked down and turned towards him. She chewed on her bottom lip before looking up, "I don't want to go in. I might never come back out. And then I'll never get to see you again which makes me a promise breaker and a liar." Her words gushed out and she couldn't rein them in. "I can't have being a liar on my conscience." She looked back down and sighed, leaning her head against his chest.
"Don't make me go in."

Hunter looked down at their joined hands as she tightened her hold on his. His blue eyes traveled up to her face, a quizzical look on his. And then the tirade came and he understood. His facial expression softened and he wrapped his arms tight around her. He pressed his lips on top of her head, breathing her in.
"How lucky I am to have someone that makes saying goodbye so hard." He mumbled into her hair. "I'll come again. I promise. I'll slay the dragon if I have to." He chuckled. "We'll see each other again, I promise."

The Innocent Lottie wrapped her arms around his waist and closed her eyes, burying her face in his shirt. She tried hard to commit it to memory, as the melodramatic side of her mind told her she might never see him again even in such a small section of the city. Even with his promises, she wondered if it was possible that she could still keep him. If Will found her out, the answer was clearly going to be no, but if he hadn't, if by some miracle she'd escaped without him knowing a thing. She didn't let herself linger on that thought very long.
With a deep breath in, she pulled away from him and glanced back at her tower of despair. Once she was composed, she sighed and nodded once, "Here goes nothing." She gave him a quick smile and pecked his cheek, "Thanks again, for everything. Start thinking about where you're gonna take me next time, yeah?" Charlotte glanced around to make sure it was clear before walking quickly towards the back door. "I'm holding you to your word," She called out to him with a smirk before her hand reached the door and she slipped through the small opening.
