Skyfall
I've drowned and dreamt this moment
"Of course not. Charlotte has... she has a hard time coping with things initially, but once she does, she's fine. It'll be fine, I promise." James may not have seen his niece or nephew in years, but he'd always seen how they worked with each other. If one was having a problem of any sort, the other was there to fix it or at least make it manageable. Of the two, Miles had always been a little bit better at keeping Charlotte contained, but it was mostly because he was just a generally friendly person to begin with. She struggled as much as her uncle did.
Not even a few minutes later and he saw Miles approaching with Charlotte tailing him, connected at the hands. He gave his uncle a smile before offering for his twin to sit before he did. When she did, she remained quiet, but this time the air around her didn't seem quite as cold, but more embarrassed. She didn't even make eye contact with James across the table and he didn't push for it.
With their drink orders taken, James glanced over towards the stage where they were setting up for the next reading, "I think they've changed the place a bit since the last time we were here. They've made it a little more sickeningly hipster than I'd like to accept." James smirked and at that both of the twins laughed together. "What do you think, Maya?"
When worlds collide and days are dark.
