The fact that Callie felt the need to clarify the word "public", only made Penelope fell more at ease with the situation. She was thankful that she was offered the time she needed to clear her mind, though, she wouldn't have put it past the blonde to be clever enough to have ulterior motives.
Still, she supposed she deserved whatever was coming her way now. She hadn't told the blonde to get lost and had somehow agreed that friendship, that she could handle.
A smile found its way to Penelope's lips once more. There she went again, getting ahead of herself. No matter. "See you around then. In public," she mused, returning the wave.
Once the blonde was gone from her sight, though, Penelope let herself back away until she reached the closest seat, sinking down and letting a deep and long breath from between shaking lips.
