imma say all the words inside my head
Don't you tell me what you think that I could be
Dylan had definitely noticed that Adrian was clothed now because he distinctly remembered kissing a lot of her skin this morning and last night. He didn't say anything about it, obviously because on some level, he knew Adrian well enough that she wouldn't actually listen to him. He accepted it as such anyway.
Her remark had him beaming before he realised she was talking to the bacon. Dylan rolled his eyes but the smile stayed on his face. "You're a joker, apparently."
The waffle pancake discourse had him rolling his eyes once more. "How do you even live with yourself? Pancakes are just...flat with no flavour. Waffles are little squares of butter and syrup in each crispy bite. There's no competition."
He shrugged and took two pieces of crispy bacon and munched on them. The kiss on the cheek had him grinning before he turned to her to capture her lips with his. "You have a man servant, you better appreciate it." He teased.

All The Boys
She came here to entertain you
She folded her hands beneath her chin and tilted her head to the side with an angelic grin, "What ever do you mean? I'm an angel." Totally innocent and sweet, sometimes. At least he appreciated her sense of humor. Even though she could hardly handle his argument between waffles and pancakes.
Adrian held a hand up, "No. No, you're so wrong. Pancakes are fluffy and light and soak up all the syrup and butter in its fluffiness making it soft and sweet and wonderful when you put it in your mouth." She pressed her lips together to keep from giggling too much at the thoughts that invaded her mind. She considered adding to her comment with a 'like you' but she thought that might be a little overly sexual. So instead she kept her thoughts to herself and took another piece of bacon.
He was quick to kiss her and she cupped his cheek to keep him there for a moment longer, "I do, I do. You're my favorite man servant by far." By this point she could feel her stomach starting to make noises again and she knew that she'd awakened a monster inside her after starving it for the last few weeks. She continued eating happily beside him, her hand wrapped around his arm and her head resting against his shoulder. It was the first time she'd ever done the breakfast in bed thing and she had to admit that she enjoyed it.
Adrian could see their life like this down the road, easy with no pressure, but they had a hurdle to jump before it could happen. Her hand gripped his arm tighter and she pressed her lips to his shoulder, "You're really starting to spoil me, ya know that?"
Isn't she a dream come true?

"Lucifer was an angel too." Dylan's eyebrow jumped up in amusement as his grin lit his face up. It was quite hard to ignore the fact that it was entirely too natural for them being in bed just bantering and eating. He laughed when Adrian tried to defend pancakes and just as Adrian was thinking pervy thoughts, so was he. He chose to respond with a nonchalant "Uhuh."
He obliged to the kiss and chuckled at her response. When Dylan heard her stomach making noises, he couldn't help sliding one hand over her stomach and scratched it lightly. "Eat up." He said as he poured syrup into the little squares on the waffle and began to break the bacon over it.
Turning a little to look down at Adrian, Dylan shrugged lightly. "Tell me you don't deserve it and I'll stop."

Her eyes lifted to his and she dropped them again, her mouth still pressed against his shoulder. She didn't want him to stop, but she knew that she should ask him to. It was a confusing situation that they'd gotten into and there she was feeding into it and soaking it up. Usually she knew better than to drink the kool-aid, but she didn't have the will power to stop herself from enjoying it.
Adrian didn't want anymore hardships, she just wanted to be happy and he was doing that. He was serving that purpose for her. That it was him doing it was the shocking part, but she couldn't very well treat him like an asshole when he wasn't being one. She let out a sigh and wrapped around his arm tighter, "I don't deserve it." If she had then it would have been easier, but their situation wasn't going to be this easy all the time.

He turned to look at her again just as she looked up. He smiled at her, awaiting her response. She took her own sweet time to do so though and he found himself feeling slightly anxious, something no one had ever made him feel. Then, her response and her body language betrayed each other and he didn't know how to actually react to it.
He could play it off, that was better than to actually take it to heart. Knowing her, she probably actually believed that to be true. He hadn't known her for too long but the past few months have shown him enough for him to draw the conclusion that she did deserve it.
"Okay, no more bacon for you then." He poured the rest of the bacon on his waffles and munched on them.

His reaction to her words took her by surprise and she couldn't help but laugh as she was completely stunned. The man that she knew would have immediately tossed her to the side and told her that she was probably right. Back before the problems with her mother, she'd expected the worst from him at every turn. That he was changing her mind on how he'd react was frustrating. She may not have known him for long, but she wanted to be aware of how he would take things. Self-preservation and all.
When she realized what he was doing though, she immediately protested, "No no no, take the pancakes, leave the bacon!" Her hand shot out and she plucked another strip from his plate, quickly setting it between her teeth and leaning away so that he couldn't take it from her. Adrian would have tackled him for that bacon if it came down to it.
And for the moment her insecurities were buried beneath the waves of relief she felt that he was staying. Adrian finished off her bacon and sighed happily. With most of her pancakes gone and a significant amount of the bacon demolished, she felt much better than she had. She spread out on her bed and patted her stomach lightly, "I'm not going to have a job to go back to if I keep eating like that."
Isn't she a dream come true?

He was relieved that Adrian didn't actually pull away, if he were being honest. The fact that she fought for the bacon and then proceeded to finish it in record time left him feeling less unsure about her uncertainty about this. Whatever it is that they were having right then.
With the tray down on the floor, Dylan got comfortable in the bed he had been occupying more and more the past month. Her remark about work had him chuckling as he shook his head slowly. "Because you wouldn't still be beautiful? Sure."
His eyes went to the phone on the nightstand as it buzzed. He groaned and reached out to grab it. He had an hour to get ready and go into work. He was just not ready to leave. "Well, my bubble has burst. Your man servant needs to serve another man." He got out of bed and picked the tray up. "I have to go back to the hotel tonight. There's a client who wants to meet me bright and early tomorrow for God knows what reason. I'll come by tomorrow yeah?"
Despite the earlier glitch, Dylan didn't want her to feel like he was running away. He'd done that once before. He couldn't do it again. So he leaned down to press a long kiss on Adrian's forehead. "See you tomorrow, Princess."
