When They Call My Name
These thoughts will kill me
If he were being honest with himself, she was right, he didn't feel quite as awkward as he had before being with her. With that said, it probably boiled down to feeling comfortable with her and not anyone else because he still struggled talking to other people that he wasn't as familiar with. It made him feel a little better to know that he felt at ease with her because then he could be sure that he wasn't going to spout off something stupid because he was nervous. She just brought out this serene side of him where he felt lighter and the heavy stuff never really lingered in his mind.
His eyes lifted to hers as she leaned back from hugging him and he had a lazy smile on his face. Miles wanted her to say it as frequently as she could, but he wouldn't push for more than was comfortable for her. If it were up to him, he'd be saying it every other word because he'd held it in for such a long time. He rolled her eyes at her smirking before he leaned forward to kiss her again, "I like both. Can we do both?"
But I think I’ve found the light.

i love cheap thrills
I got all I need
Spencer had been with a lot of people but somehow, instead of her measuring Miles up to her previous conquests, she was measuring them up to him. She was realising now that she had never gotten a spark with anyone else. Her heart somehow had never really been touched by any of them. But with Miles, everything was happening at once and though she was terrified, she knew that Miles was more than capable of taking care of her. And that made her love him even more.
Even as he rolled his eyes at her, she couldn't help the feeling of falling deeper into him. She reciprocated the kiss and chuckled against his lips at his response. "Okay." She nodded before giving him another kiss, this time a soft and endearing one. She pulled away and stroked her thumb against his cheekbone. "I love you, Miles Spencer." She sighed before removing herself from him and standing up, taking his hand to pull him along with her.
As long as I keep dancing
