Charlotte shrugged, "Nah, Smiles is used to it. He's been around us for almost a decade, he knows what he got himself into." That was the beauty of them being part of a group. While Spencer and Charlotte had always been closer, Miles was the one that looked out for them and he'd never been much of a jealous type.
She giggled and melted under his lips. It was dangerous how intoxicating she found him to be. If not for the fact that it would hurt her beyond words to lose him, then because it would hurt her beyond words to be the reason for his pain. It seemed inevitable given her ability and the side effects it had on her, but she wanted to believe that they could make it through. As long as everything remained light-hearted and fun.
Charlotte wiggled her arms out from under him and wrapped them around his neck, her fingers sliding through his hair, "I'm okay with that. Lets just make sure that doesn't change, yeah?"

Her argument for her brother made him laugh. "Is that so? Well, I'll be jealous for the both of us then. I can't be going around sharing my girlfriend just because Spencer's a looker." Max nuzzled the side of her neck and gave little bites on her skin.
The way she seemed to just melt into the kiss had Max sighing. Somehow, he wished he had something like her abilities to explain why he was so much under her spell because every time he was near Charlotte, he just seemed to want her even more and he didn't know why. Sure, she was beautiful, sweet, intelligent and kind, all the damned cliched reasons one would fall for a person but that can't all be it. But before he could dig deeper to find out what it actually was, he wanted to enjoy this moment.
Max groaned when Charlotte started moving, thinking that she was going to go but she just wrapped her arms around his and he smiled. "Let's go for round three and we'll see how we feel about that." He smirked before lowering himself on to her.
