imma say all the words inside my head
Don't you tell me what you think that I could be
It had been three days since he last spoke to Adrian. Three days since he basically made it clear exactly how much the beautiful brunette meant to him. How much he needed her. Three days was hell.
But he was happy to hear that Cassidy was feeling better. Much better than she had three days ago. Because she received the call she had been dying to get. She had gushed about it with Dylan over text, thanking him for whatever it was he did that made Adrian finally call her. He was happy for Cassidy. He genuinely was.
He had tried to get back to his own normal life, now that he managed to make his pregnant sister happy. He needed his own life to get back to normal. Nothing seemed to help. He worked out more, concentrated on work more, nothing felt right.
Dylan was tired. He'd bottled up so much inside that having released it towards Adrian just drained his energy. All he wanted to do was get home and go to sleep. But the moment he finished his shower, he heard the doorbell ring and he groaned. He put on some pants but couldn't be bothered with a t-shirt before he padded downstairs to answer the door.
Suddenly, he wasn't so tired anymore. "Adrian..."

All The Boys
She came here to entertain you
If she were going to be honest with herself, Adrian would say that Dylan's drop-by at her house had been a good thing for her. Granted, it hurt like Hell and things hadn't been resolved between them, but it gave her a bit of a nudge in the direction she needed to be. Reaching out to Cassidy was a step on that path. She had been late for her appointment, but when she got there it had been such a brief meeting that it didn't much matter. Then it was off to another gig, hair, makeup and the whole shebang. But all she kept thinking about was Cas and the baby.
She should have reached out sooner because the way Cassidy's voice cut through her otherwise melancholy mind and reached that part of her that actually felt something...it was unfair. Adrian could feel her throat tighten the more they talked and she gushed over how much she missed that sweet girl's face and that they needed to get together soon so she could revel in Cas' beautiful pregnant glow. When the call ended, all she could do was sit in her room and cry because Dylan had been right. Cassidy had needed her and she had needed Cas. But she couldn't quite admit yet that she was going to need him, too.
The only logical way she could go about seeing him, after convincing herself it wasn't about her at all, was to go to his place and thank him for the nudge. That was civil right? A good step in the right direction. Less angry. But she was so nervous. She'd changed about fifteen times just to drive to his place for a quick thanks. Her palms were sweating and she felt like she was wobbling the whole way to his door, but when she knocked, she stood up straighter and smoothed her t-shirt down, simultaneously wiping the sweat from her hands and waited for him to answer the door.
When he did, admittedly, she didn't look at his face first. Her eyes moved slowly up his torso and by the time she reached his eyes, she lost all thought capacity and instead of saying anything smart, she cupped her hand to the back of his neck and pulled his lips down to hers urgently.
Isn't she a dream come true?

Dylan noticed the way her eyes drifted from his body up to his face. He quelled the smirk that threatened to come out, which wasn't too difficult since her lips were on his in a moment's notice.
His arms immediately wrapped around her as he reciprocated the kiss tenfold, the pent up emotions he had pouring into it. In that moment, he didn't care that she had been absent in his life. He didn't care that this might not go further than tonight. All he cared about was her lips on his, practically begging for him.
With relative ease, he picked her up off the ground, wrapping her legs around his waist as he moved into the house, closing the door behind them and pressing her against it. He broke away as his lips moved down to her neck, grazing his teeth along her skin, sucking roughly on it before moving back up to her lips. Her urgency only matched with his as one hand slid under her t-shirt to unhook her bra.
He didn't waste much time moving over the nearest surface, plopping her down on a display table, knocking back the ornament that had been there before. It was lucky that the staff had the night off and his father was on a business trip so the house was empty and any crashing displays wouldn't disturb anyone.
